BridgePit runs entirely on your own computer and connects to your broker from your own IP address - never a cloud server. Your credentials are encrypted on this machine and never sent to us, which also means the security of this machine is the only thing protecting them. Check your firm's own rulebook - every firm writes its own, and only their word counts.
Set as execution is what makes orders real. Until you click it every fill is paper, which is where a new configuration belongs first: run it on paper long enough to watch a whole day of your own alerts arrive, fill and flatten.

The name must match the strategy_name in your TradingView alert exactly. Add the strategy here first, then use Alert setup to copy the block for TradingView.
BridgePit runs the strategies you write. It does not supply them, does not recommend them, and has no opinion on whether one is any good - every trading decision here is yours.

Only what you add here can be traded. BridgePit works out the current contract month itself, so you never type one.

Your firm's rules, in your numbers. Everything on this page applies to the accounts listed below and to nothing else. Your own brokerage account is set up on its own page, and nothing here can close it, halt it or flatten it.
Accounts on these rules
loading…
This list is what the page governs, not a place to change it. A broker login is put in its world once, when you set it up, on Connections.
The rules for these accounts
BridgePit does not know your firm's rules, so these are your numbers. Leave one empty and that protection is off.
These limits reduce risk. They are not guarantees. Every one of them is BridgePit running on this machine: if it is asleep, off, or cut off from your broker, a loss limit cannot close anything. Keep the ability to see and close your positions yourself, directly with your broker.
Daily stop
Stop for today after losing $
Today only, and it resets every morning. When today's loss reaches this, BridgePit closes that account and takes no new trades on it until tomorrow. If your firm has a daily limit, set yours a little lower so you stop before they do.
Drawdown stop
Stop for good with this much left above the floor $ below its best
Measured from the balance your firm closes the account at, which you fill in on the account itself. Get this close to it and BridgePit closes everything and stays stopped until you switch it back on. At that point you are close to losing the account, and that should be your decision, not a program's. Without that firm balance filled in, this stop cannot run and BridgePit will tell you so. This one never resets.
End of day
Close these accounts at New York time
A failsafe that runs even if your strategy's own exit alert never arrives. On US half-days BridgePit moves this earlier by itself, to 15 minutes before the early close, and warns you the day before. Prop-firm flat-by-close rules apply on half-days too. The half-day list is kept by us and can change, so check your firm's calendar too. The close is retried until your broker confirms you are flat, but if your broker is unreachable through the close, a position can stay open. Your brokerage account is not touched by this.
Stop at a balance, and your firm's figures
A profit target and a firm's floor, payout threshold and day count are a single account's numbers, because a 50K and a 150K do not share them. They stay on the account: open Limits & firm figures on its dashboard card.
BridgePit does not know any firm's rules and never fills one in for you. We only do the arithmetic.
Nothing on this page reaches My brokerage. One alert can still fill in both worlds, and the evening close flattens only the funded leg: the position on your own account is left where you put it. The kill switch and Close all positions are the exception and flatten everything, everywhere. An emergency has no exemptions.
Your own account, your own rules. BridgePit does what you set here and nothing more. There is no firm on this page, so no payout arithmetic and no forced evening close. Nothing here can close, halt or flatten a funded account.

This list is what the page governs, not a place to change it. A broker login is put in its world once, when you set it up, on Connections.
The rules for these accounts
Nothing here is filled in for you. An empty field means that protection is off, and on your own account that is a normal way to run.
Off while it is empty. There is no firm to answer to here, so BridgePit will not stop your day unless you tell it to. Put a number in and it behaves exactly as it does on a funded account: closes this account, and no new trades on it until tomorrow.
Drawdown stop
Stop for good with this much left above the floor $
Off while it is empty. This one exists because a firm closes an account at a floor. Your broker does not, so use it only if you want that discipline yourself, and give the account a floor of your own to measure from. It never resets.
End of day
Close this account at New York time
Off, because holding overnight is normal on your own account. Switch it on only if you want a hard flat every evening, on its own clock - the funded close is set on its own page and this does not touch it. The kill switch and Close all positions still flatten this account. An emergency has no exemptions.
When it hits a limit
The account that hit it stops. Your funded accounts carry on. There is nothing to choose here, and that is the point of the split.
Nothing on this page reaches Funded accounts. Their evening close, their drawdown stop and their daily stop are set on their own page, and were not changed by anything you did here.
Your limits
Your limits live with the accounts they protect. Funded accounts follow your firm's rules; your own account follows yours. Neither page can change the other, and neither can halt or flatten the other's accounts.
The account-type switch that used to sit here is gone. One pair of numbers could not describe two kinds of account, and flipping the switch rewrote whatever had been typed under it.
Your webhook
Paste this URL into your TradingView alerts. Signals sent here execute on your connected broker.
Your webhook token - include it as "token" in every alert message:
TradingView must reach this machine from the internet - the localhost URL only works for local tests. The four steps under Your public address, below, do it in about ten minutes - once. .
Alert setup
Pick a strategy and copy the block below into your TradingView alert's Message box. Your token is already in it, so there is nothing to type - it is hidden here so that a screenshot of this screen cannot give it away. Copy block always copies the real one.
select a strategy…
In TradingView: open your alert, set Message to this block, then under Notifications switch on Webhook URL and paste the address above.
The test goes through the same path a real alert takes and appears in your activity below. In paper mode it fills on paper; nothing is sent to your broker.

Alerts cannot reach this computer yet
TradingView calls you over the public internet, and this computer has no public address yet. These four steps give it one - free, about ten minutes, once - and the last step proves the whole road with a real test alert.
  1. 1
    Install Tailscale and sign in
A free personal account is enough - Google or Apple login works. Install it, sign in, leave it running in the background.
  2. 2
    Switch your public address on
Copy this into Terminal (press ⌘ space, type Terminal, hit return). It answers with your public address - the line ending in .ts.net.
  3. 3
    Paste the address into BridgePit
BridgePit adds /webhook itself, and from then on it is the address Alert setup hands you.
  4. 4
    Prove the roadpathtest alert
First the path: can the internet reach BridgePit here? Then the real thing - a test alert leaves this machine, travels your public address, comes back in and fills on paper. The exact road every TradingView alert takes.
Advanced
Only change this if another program on your computer already uses 8787. It takes effect after you quit and start BridgePit again, and your tunnel must point at the new port too or TradingView alerts will stop arriving.
Lost laptop, or a screenshot that showed too much: this signs out every open dashboard everywhere, including this one. Your password opens the door again; broker credentials are not touched.
Where we reach you
If something goes wrong while you are away from this computer, this is how you find out. Without one of these, you would only see it the next time you open BridgePit.
In Telegram, message @BotFather, send /newbot, and paste the whole token line it gives you.
Message @userinfobot in Telegram and it replies with your ID. Then send your own bot any message once, so it is allowed to write to you.
Not your normal password. Gmail and most providers issue a separate app password for programs.
Off means you only hear about problems. On means a message for each fill too, which is reassuring at first and noisy later.
Changing a token or an address means the delivery proof below has to be earned again, on purpose: BridgePit will not go live until it has watched a message actually arrive.
Alert delivery
When something goes wrong - an order rejected, the broker connection lost, the end-of-day flatten failing - BridgePit tells you by email or Telegram. Before live trading can be armed, prove the pipe works: send yourself the test message, then confirm it arrived on your phone. Set them up in Where we reach you, just above.
What BridgePit depends on
Some of what your orders depend on is neither ours nor yours - your platform, the road between it and this machine, your broker, the exchange. The list is short and it is the same one in the Terms. You are shown it before live execution can be armed; you can read it again whenever you like.
Your records
Your fills and daily balances as files - hand them to your firm when a payout is questioned, instead of arguing.
