MyFundedFutures and automated trading: what their rules actually say.
Not what a forum says. Below is each relevant rule in MyFundedFutures' own words, linked to their help centre, followed by what it means if you execute your own TradingView alerts from your own machine. Their rules change — check the source links before you act on any of it.
First, the thing every prop firm asks about.
The objection that kills most execution tools at a prop firm is copy trading, and firms are right to be strict about it. So, plainly:
What BridgePit is not
Not a copier. Not signal replication. Not a managed service. No trade is ever copied from one person onto another person's account, and your strategy is never transmitted to anyone — not to other traders, not to us.
What it is
An execution bridge. Your own chart strategy fires an alert; software on your computer places that order on your account with your credentials, from your own IP address. You watch it, and you can stop it instantly.
Traders may not copy each other.
"Traders are not permitted to copy trade one another by entering, exiting or cancelling trade positions." MyFundedFutures — Fair Play and Prohibited Trading Practices
"Collaborating with others to execute identical or opposite strategies across unconnected accounts is prohibited." Same article
Both rules describe trades moving between different people. That is the category an execution bridge sits outside of: one trader, one strategy, one account, no replication to anyone else. Note MyFundedFutures separately publishes a copy-trading policy of its own, naming a preferred copier partner and stating that "external copy trading solutions can also be used" — so third-party execution software is not foreign to them. Their copy-trading article →
Automated strategies are permitted, with two conditions.
Their fair-play article permits traders to use automated strategies configured to their own settings, provided the tool does not aim to exploit the favourable fills of the simulated environment, and states that live automated trading must follow CME guidelines. Read the current wording yourself — this is the clause most likely to be updated. Source →
What that asks of a tool: it should place the orders your strategy asks for, at the pace you actually trade, with nothing engineered around simulated-fill behaviour.
High-frequency trading is out.
"High-frequency Trading is not allowed on our plans." MyFundedFutures — Fair Play and Prohibited Trading Practices
Alert-driven execution is the opposite end of that spectrum. Your chart fires a signal; one order goes in. That is typically a handful of trades a day — the same rhythm you already trade by hand, minus the typing.
One trader, one device.
"Each individual trader may not use the same device (tablet, phone or computer) as used by another trader." MyFundedFutures — Fair Play and Prohibited Trading Practices
Worth reading next to how cloud execution works. A hosted service runs your orders from its infrastructure alongside everyone else's. Local execution runs on the machine you already trade from, under your own account, from your own IP — which is the arrangement this rule is written around.
Where BridgePit honestly stands with MyFundedFutures.
We are not going to tell you it works there today. BridgePit executes over Rithmic, which is the infrastructure MyFundedFutures runs on, and the rules above are the reason we are pursuing them first. But the technical connection has not been confirmed, and no firm-level arrangement is in place.
"Permitted by the rulebook" and "your account will connect" are two different things, and only one of them is proven. When it is confirmed, this page changes and the people on the list hear first.
No spam, no drip sequence — one email when there is something real to say. In the meantime you can run the whole thing on paper, free, and see exactly what would have executed.
What it would cost you.
BridgePit is $49/month (Pro, one live account, 7-day trial) or $99/month for up to five accounts. Paper mode is free and needs no card.
Separately, your firm sets its own fees for API or third-party access, paid to the firm, not to us — ask MyFundedFutures what applies on your plan. Charts stay on TradingView, so you are not buying a market-data licence to route orders.
Before you automate anything, get it in writing.
Rules change and support answers age. Whatever tool you pick, send your firm one email naming it, saying it runs on your own computer from your own IP, that you supervise it with a kill-switch and a daily loss stop, and asking if that complies. Keep the reply. The five clauses to check in any firm's agreement →
