The pipe
TradingView to Rithmic, without a cloud in the middle.
TradingView cannot talk to Rithmic on its own. It fires alerts; it holds no broker connection. Something has to catch the alert, hold your login and place the order. The only real question is where that something runs: in someone's datacenter, or on your own machine.
What actually happens between alert and fill
Your strategy fires on TradingView. TradingView sends a webhook, one HTTPS message, to an address you gave it. Whatever answers at that address holds your Rithmic connection and turns the message into an order. The fill comes back the same way.
Cloud connectors answer that webhook in their datacenter, which means your broker access lives there too and your orders leave from their IP. BridgePit answers it on your own Mac: the alert lands on your machine, the order leaves from your own connection, and your credentials are encrypted locally and never sent anywhere.
Why Rithmic first
Rithmic is the connection rail most major futures prop firms offer. BridgePit passed Rithmic vendor conformance on July 13, 2026. Each firm decides API access on its side and sets its own API fee, paid to the firm directly, not to us. Supported firms are announced at launch.
What stands between an alert and a bad day
Execution without supervision is how accounts die. BridgePit is semi-automated by design: it executes, you supervise. The kill switch, per-strategy contract caps, duplicate rejection and the end-of-day flatten are on from the first run. The daily loss stop is the one number you enter yourself.
And the honest trade of local execution: close the lid and it stops. No orders leave a sleeping Mac. If you want software that trades while you cannot see it, that is what the cloud tools sell, and it is exactly what we chose not to build.
Try the pipe on paper, free
Paper mode needs no card and no broker connection. Alerts arrive, orders fill on paper, and you see the whole path on your screen. The setup guide takes about twenty minutes and ends with a paper fill.
Prop firm rules on automation differ by firm and change. Before going live on a funded account, read the five clauses that decide and check your firm's current wording.
